Free Play Days is back, granting Xbox users an opportunity to try out several titles for free.

There are four titles available this time around.

As is usually the case, three of them are only free to sample with a valid Game Pass subscription while the fourth and final title is free for all, no strings attached.

The event is underway now running until 11.59pm PT on Sunday 6 April.

Let’s begin with Age of Wonders 4 which is the title that’s free for all, no subscription required.

Developed by Triumph Studios, this one’s a 4X turn-based strategy game where players can “rule a fantasy realm” of their own design.

Mixing 4X strategy with turn-based tactical combat, you’ll control a growing faction that expands alongside your empire with each turn.

If you like what you sample, you can nab a £14.61 discount on the game whilst Free Play Days is running, dropping the title to £27.13 on the Xbox Store.

For those with a Core, Standard, or Ultimate Game Pass subscription, you can also try out Catan: Console Edition, Dead by Daylight, and Everspace 2.

South of Midnight is joining Game Pass when it drops in the coming days.

Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight is an online horror multiplayer where players partake in one vs four rounds.

Someone takes on the role of a killer, whilst the other four play as survivors.

The goal is simple; the killer attempts to hunt down the survivors, placing them on sacrificial hooks to appease the Entity.

If you enjoy this one, it’s down to £9.99 during Free Play Days, saving you £15.

Catan: Console Edition brings the beloved board game to life digitally.

Catan: Console Edition brings the beloved board game to life digitally.

Catan is reimagined on Xbox, with an interactive board, online multiplayer, couch multiplayer, and all the fun (and frustration) of the classic board game beloved by enthusiasts all over the globe,” the synopsis reads.

This one will set you back just £3.89 if you buy it during Free Play Days, saving you £9.10.

Finally, there’s Everspace 2, a single-player space shooter from Rockfish Games.

A sequel to 2017’s Everspace, players will explore a number of star systems, upgrading their spacecraft, and battling against those who stand in their way.

Strangely this one isn't running an offer despite its Play Days inclusion so the full release will set you back £44.99.

If this is your first time making the most out of Free Play Days, the games only remain free for the duration of the weekend, so you basically get a several-day-long demo period.
