“Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem” is an operational video game available only in the PSP version. It is a component of the Alien vs. Predator organization, which combines Predator and Alien features. The game is a follow-up to the same-titled movie, which came out not long after the game.

Reviewers gave this game bad reviews, defining it as just another in a long series of low-quality game-related movies. Although they appreciated the chance to take on the role of a Predator. Reviewers criticized the lack of challenge and encouragement in the game, especially thinking of the opponents’ basic artificial intelligence. The game’s recordings and graphics were similarly regarded as being of low quality. The story of this game was partly inspired by the movie, with players taking on the role of the main Predator. Following the events of the first movie in the Alien vs. Predator series, the Predator is assigned through his society to find and reduce any sign of cosmic activity in a small American town to prevent humans from discovering it.

Gameplay​

The movie Predator appears in the fifteen missions that make up the individual play initiative. The Predator weapons that can be seen in the films and other media within the organization are available to the player, such as a power weapon placed on the shoulder and claws. Two new weapons from the matching movie are dual shoulder guns and a power gun. In addition, the player character can see in the dark using a variety of vision modes, including ultraviolet radiation vision, and undercover hiding spots. A separated life bar that recovers after an excellent kill serves as a symbol of health. An energy bar is also available for energizing the Predator’s weapons. The Predator has to reduce face-hugger wrappers and any other evidence of Aliens in addition to avoiding the creatures themselves. Icons on a heads-up screen indicate probable targets such as humans, shells, aliens, and others.

In Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, players are awarded points for actions declared respectable for Predators through the usage of an “honor points” system. For example, killing humans deducts points, but “tagging” an opponent in first-person mode before killing it provides points. After every objective, honor points are applied to improve the Predator’s tools and weapons. Apart from the initiative, there’s a single-player option titled “Skirmish” where players take five minutes to clear one of the game’s maps. By applying the PSP’s “ad hoc” local wireless mode, skirmish may also be played together with a single other player.
