On November 14, 2013, Bandai Namco Entertainment launched God Eater 2. This is a PlayStation Portable game created by Shift, in Japan and it has a new location, enemies, heroes, and weapons. God Eater 2: Rage Burst is an expansion that was published in Japan for the PS Vita and PS4. The game became available by Bandai Namco Entertainment’s North American and European divisions for PS4, PS Vita, and Microsoft Windows. Moreover, it debuted in Western regions during the summer of 2016.

According to a video trailer seen on God Eater 2’s Japanese website. The Players of PSP and PS Vita may play together in multi-player mode across both platforms. On July 25, 2013, a playable sample for PS Vita was made available on PlayStation Network in Japan area. However, this game is followed up through God Eater.

Gameplay​

Firstly, four new weapons—the Boost Hammer, Charge Spear, Variant Scythe, and Shotgun—are among the new additions and features. A hammer with a rocket booster attached is called the Boost Hammer. A big knife that can be “charged” to create an organic blade that is sharpened is called a Charge Spear. The Variant Scythe is a huge blade with a vast range of extensions. When a player gets closer to an opponent, the shotgun is a massive weapon that shoots bullets and it can deal more damage.

Secondly, One of the key parts of the game is Blood Arts, which are “attack add-ons”. It upgrades all types of common attacks into greater ones. This allows you to either activate new Blood Arts or improve existing ones into stronger varieties. Completing operations is an essential requirement for raising a Blood Art’s skill. The Blood Arts that are presently fitted and other Blood Arts of the same variety get experience points. However, they will get only when they complete missions with a higher rating.

Thirdly, the majority of current weapons come with extra features and abilities. For example, the Long Blade’s “Zero Stance” skill can cancel attack animations to block or overcome attacks. Lastly, Short Blade’s “Rising Edge” upward slash can launch the character into mid-air and continue a flying combination.
