First of all, the series was released under this title by updating the original game and changing the environment. The cutscenes and storylines of the previous mine series were changed to make them more boring. The game positions are the same as the original game and some new techniques have been introduced in this new series, these techniques include swinging on ropes and using a grappling hook at certain points.

- Here players control the main character Lara Croft from a third-person perspective.
- One of the features of the game is the character features. Here Lara can jump, climb, and climb vertical poles or ladders, crawl through small spaces, and swing on ropes.
- Other abilities in the game include interacting with objects, solving puzzles, and swimming and diving underwater for a limited time.
- Lara solves the game’s puzzles by activating switches or finding keys hidden within areas.
- Some sections of the puzzle help the player to pass the time puzzles faster by prompting the player on the screen.
- While exploring in the game Lara can find medipacks that help heal damage during gameplay.
- During combat, Lara fires her equipped gun at enemies, and the player can move freely to move to other targets within range and avoid enemy attacks.
